Hello there!
Hannah Paradis (they/ She) | Artist & Designer
My name is Hannah. I am a designer and multimedia artist whose practice investigates the intersections of digital infrastructure, material history, and the human form. With a formal education spanning Fine Arts and Interaction Design, my work sits between the meticulous intensity of design and the visceral qualities of ceramic media, using their contrast as a generative tension within my practice.
The natural world is my primary source of inspiration, and through ceramics I experience a physical and mental connection to it. My recent inquiries have been supported by several international residencies in Aotearoa (New Zealand), where I focused on decolonial craft methodologies and traditional firing techniques. My practice is responsive to my current environment, creating objects and interfaces that prompt a deeper understanding of our physical and technological presence.
